What Smoke Detector does.

The iQ Smoke detector is a EN14604 certified Smart Smoke Detector, it is equipped with BLE and LoRaWAN communication for added operating convenience and  IoT fire alarm.

Besides the most important function of the detector, detecting Smoke in order to protect occupants of the people in the room it also ensures that the occupants are not bothered with warnings because about for example a low battery because you have received a warning from the device well before and had the time to replace the battery before it became noticeable by the occupant.

It facilitates you in the remote testing of the detectors, removing the need for manual on-site visits and reporting. This is all done by the device itself and the YOBI Cloud.

The Yobiiq iQ DSMR is developed for usage in rental properties, bungalows, vacation homes, caravans, etc.

LoRaWAN® Based Smoke Detector

The hush button allows the detector to go into a silenced mode to disable any warning related sounds.

The Smart Smoke Detector's alarm buzzes at a minimum of 85dB(A)

Always connected.

The Smoke Detector comes with a wired interconnect to group multiple detectors on the same smoke detector signal, if a wire is not available between the detectors the BLE module can be used to group them.

frequently asked questions

If the detector beeps every minute, this indicates a low or discharged battery.
There are several reasons for a higher battery discharge:

  • Interval between uplinks is set too short causing more then 1 uplink a day.
  • Repeated false alarms or sub-optimal operating conditions.
