The YOBIIQ iQ Electricity EM2101 is a certified, direct-connected electricity meter equipped with a built-in relay. It aims to integrate real-world usability into a LoRaWAN device.

The LoRaWAN energy meter supports multirate recording and can measure active and reactive bi-directional power. The voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor and phase angle, among others are also stored in the datalogger.

What EM2101 Energy Meter does.

iQ Electricity EM2101 is a LoRaWAN Energy Meter in a compact din-rail mounted enclosure. Its diverse uses include smart metering, energy consumption monitoring, and billing systems.

The meter facilitates data transmission, removing any inaccuracies and the necessity for you to read the data. Its integrated relay allows external control or automated shutdown based on power or current consumption

The internal data logger of the EM2101 is designed to store measurements on interval times, counted from a full hour. The internal time is synchronized at least every 24 hours to ensure maximum consistency of measurement data.

The iQ EM2101 is adaptable and user-friendly. It enables effective energy management, cost savings, and the promotion of sustainable behaviors in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

iQ EM2101 can be applied for:

  • Deep Penetrating Signals: The data transmission range is up to 2 km in urban areas and 15 km in rural areas
  • Full Compatibility: YOBIIQ Devices are LoRaWAN Certified and compliant with standard LoRaWAN® gateways and network servers.
  • Platform Agnostic: YOBIIQ Devices can be used on several platforms like YOBI Cloud, Things Networks and Datacake.
