iQ ISD Display VOC LoRa - IoT sensor for easy indoor environment sensing.

The iQ Indoor Sensing Device (ISD) sensor is a universal LoRaWAN® indoor environmental sensors wihout an screen.  Enclosed in a nicely designed enclosure that fits the european wall box dimensions.

The YOBIIQ iQ ISD Display VOC sensor measures temperature, humidity, and air quality (CO2). It is powered by a replaceable internal battery with a service life of up to 8-12 years.

The iQ ISD Display VOC has a 2.15-inch e-paper display showing the measured temperature and humidity, which boosts the possibility for custom content on the display.

Power Efficient and Compliant CO2 Sensor

Gas measurements are getting more and more regular in the builded environment to measure air quality.

Within YOBIIQ’s ISD series we use Senseair CO2 sensors which utilize non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) as operational principle with a self-correcting algorithm (ABC: Automatic Baseline Correction)

Using LED as the light source, ultra low power consumption no longer has to come at the cost of accuracy. Our CO2 sensor is compliant with ANSI/ ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2022, RESET grad B and WELL Building Standard® (WELL v2™)

Indoor Air Quality with Volatile Organic Compounds

Leveraging Sensirions patent-pending CMOSens® Technology, the VOC sensor delivers a comprehensive sensor system, consolidated on a singular chip, boasting a digital I²C interface, a temperature-controlled micro-hotplate, and a humidity-compensated indoor air quality signal.

The integration of a potent VOC Algorithm (a critical component of the gas index algorithm software) allows the sensor signal to be readily leveraged for evaluating indoor air quality, thereby facilitating the gradual fan control of an air treatment device. With unparalleled durability in the final application, the sensor surpasses its counterparts in terms of longevity.

By elevating the multipixel and multi-hotplate approach to the level of individual control for each sensing element, the sensor provides an unparalleled reduction in power consumption, rendering it ideal for battery-powered applications.

On top of that, the VOC sensor is compliant with the relevant healthy building standards RESET® and WELL Building Standard™

Paper Screen - with configurable views

The iQ ISD Displays allows you to push other (third-party) data to the display over LoRaWAN.

It comes with a range of default images that can be used to visually provide information to your guests, renters or users.

All devices within the iQ ISD Display series can be equipped with a optional button feature.

By using this optional Touchbutton PCB you can extend the already impressive iQ ISD sensor with 3 capacitive touch buttons for any kind of configuration or application you can think of.

A regular use case we see for the button is for Thermostat functionality where an occupant of a room or building can modify the setpoint of the heating or cooling, combined with the third button to actively choose between heating and/or cooling.

You could also use the buttons to refresh data if you are using third-party data, or jump to a second screen with detailed information.

Advanced MEASUREMENTS START WITH HIGH PRECISSION COMPONENTS

Within environmental variable sensing it’s important that the provided measurements are accurate, requiring sensitive and precise sensors.

Within YOBIIQ’s ISD series the temperature and humidity sensors are from Sensirion, which has industry-proven sensors for environmental monitoring powered by CMOSens®

The sensor used has a typical relative humidity accuracy of 1.8% RH and a typical temperature accuracy of 0.2°C and comes with a factory calibration.

The sensor for temperature and humidity is compliant with relevant healthy building standards RESET® and WELL Building Standard™

Data Integrity as key feature

The iQ ISD is powered by YOBIIQ’s iQ Stack firmware, which now boosts extended data storage capabilities alongside of data retransmission.

This feature allows the iQ ISD to store over 1000 sets of historical data records with synchronized timestamps.

If and when the device detects that a transmissions fails, the environmental variables will continue to be collected and stored.

Once the connection to the network is back, all data will be retransmitted to the network, so that that there is no loss of data.
