Direct-connected three-phase metering, up to 100 A.
EM4301 measures a three-phase supply through a direct connection up to 100 A. Read electrical values on its display and report measurements over LoRaWAN.
YOBIIQ / EM4301The EM4301 is a direct-connected, DIN-rail electricity meter for three-phase installations. The load current passes through the meter, with a measurement range of 0.005–100 A. It records voltage, current, power and energy, including imported and exported energy.
Installation involves connecting the meter into the electrical circuit. Plan the wiring changes and supply isolation with the installer. Read values locally on the display or bring them into your application over LoRaWAN.
EM4301 is at End of Sale and is being replaced by the DEM series. This page supports existing installations and replacement planning.

Three-phase, direct-connected
The useful question is not just how much energy a building uses, but where, when and what changed.

An electricity bill shows a total, but it does not tell a facilities team what remains active after everyone leaves.
Measure selected circuits and compare operating hours with evenings and weekends in your application. Investigate unexpected demand against the equipment and opening schedule for that area.
A focused list of consumption patterns to investigate before deciding what to change.

Whole-building totals can hide differences between units, common areas and separate properties.
Choose measurement points that reflect how the property is managed. Group the readings by area or site and compare equivalent periods with the relevant occupancy context.
A more useful conversation about which spaces need attention and why.

A new operating schedule or equipment change needs more than a lower bill to show what happened.
Record a baseline, apply the planned change and review the same measurement points afterwards. Account for differences in operating hours and occupancy when interpreting the result.
A traceable before-and-after record for the team’s energy decisions.

EM4301 measures a three-phase supply through a direct connection up to 100 A. Read electrical values on its display and report measurements over LoRaWAN.
Your device communicates over LoRaWAN. A gateway forwards its messages to a network server, ready for your application to use.
Bring device information into a monitoring platform. Follow readings and events together, with a clearer picture of the environment you manage.

The EM4301 measures load current directly through the meter and reports readings over LoRaWAN.

The load current passes directly through the EM4301, up to a maximum of 100 A. The installer plans the required wiring changes and supply isolation.
A new or modified three-phase distribution board with a current up to 100 A.
Connect the device to a LoRaWAN network, then bring its data into the application your team uses. Each layer has a different job.
Connect devices and route their LoRaWAN messages.
Turn decoded data into dashboards, history and actions.
Use the EM4301 family payload decoder with the correct direct-meter configuration. Confirm units, phase mapping and reporting settings during integration.
Plan your integrationCompare consumption, review trends and investigate reported events. This published YOBI Cloud example shows how energy data can be organised; the available fields depend on the meter and integration.

This page is for the direct-connected EM4301. For an existing installation using current transformers, open the separate EM4301-CT page. Select a DEM replacement according to the required current and connection.
Four things to settle before the first device goes into service.
Decide whether you need a building total, a circuit view or separate readings for individual spaces.
Confirm the three-phase connection, current up to 100 A, planned supply isolation and cabinet space with the installer.
Commission the LoRaWAN connection and verify units, timestamps and the selected reporting interval.
Collect a representative period and label the measurement points before using the data to assess changes.
Practical answers about EM4301 — Three-phase direct electricity meter.
Ask us something elseThe load current passes directly through the EM4301. Its direct measurement range is 0.005–100 A. Installation requires the appropriate circuit wiring and planned supply isolation.
No. EM4301 is the direct-connected meter. EM4301-CT is a separate meter that uses external current transformers and has its own product page. EM2101 is the separate single-phase model with an integrated relay.
Yes. A connected application can group device readings by building, area or measurement point. Useful comparisons require consistent units, time periods and context such as opening hours or occupancy.
Measurement helps identify opportunities and check the result of an intervention. Savings depend on what changes are made to equipment or operation. A dashboard by itself does not change the electrical demand.
An electricity meter creates a measurement at the selected electrical connection. The DSMR Reader obtains information that an existing compatible smart meter makes available through its P1 port. The right choice depends on where the data is needed and what is already installed.
